THE ORGANISATION OF IMS
The IMS "belongs" to its members. Policy is decided at the General Assembly of members which is held at the World Meat Congress. A representative Board of Directors is drawn from members throughout the world. Day to day operations are managed by the Executive Council.

IMS Committees:
The IMS has set up Meat Committees for Beef, Pigmeat and Sheepmeat. Their objective is to enhance members' understanding of the factors affecting the markets for each species through direct participation in the preparation and the proceedings of the various committees. The Chairpersons of the Committees are:
