IMS MEAT CONFERENCES AND WORKSHOPS

The IMS organises meetings and specialist workshops for its members throughout the world:

Regional Meat Conferences: Organised to address specific regional issues and market conditions.

The presentations at the IMS European Regional Conference held in Rome from 12-14 October can be accessed on the Conference site at www.imsmeatconference2005.it

Technical Workshops:

Run for specialists in the various processes of transforming meat from "farm to fork". These are usually intensive, but informal sessions, where delegates are encouraged to participate with spontaneity and creativity, exchanging experiences and knowledge.

Meat Committees:

IMS has set up Meat Committees for Beef, Pork and Sheepmeat whose purpose is to develop and improve members' understanding of the factors affecting these markets through direct participation in their proceedings.
